Description

Hultafors Group is currently searching for an experienced Area Sales Representative to support our Personal Protective Equipment, in particular Snickers Workwear & Solid Gear . Goal is to establish and grow market share for PPE supplied products across multiple distribution channels by building new sales volume and expanding the customer base with Independent & Chain Dealers, and at the same time establishing relationships with our end-users. This position will place the ideal candidate at the center of a thriving, progressive workplace, where creativity and management and interpersonal skills are valued and cultivated.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the execution of sales, marketing, and operational programs for assigned accounts and soliciting new opportunities for market share growth.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to drive growth in all channels of distribution within territory.
  • Develop strategic, long-term relationships with key decision makers at multiple levels of the customers and work cross-functionally with several internal stakeholders.
  • Grow sales and expand customer base through key account conversions.
  • Identify new product opportunities and drive growth throughout the assigned accounts.
  • Organize end user sales calls in territory and include Product Managers.
  • Develop forecasting and sales estimates and clearly communicate to senior leadership.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of product line, competitive environment and overall industry dynamics.
  • Provide competitive intelligence on a regular basis, being the “in the field” expert on key customer personnel and product launches.
  • Develop and execute specific territory plans to achieve sales and profit goals, in additional to alignment with HGNA strategies.
  • Manage the continual improvement of customer relationship while penetrating the assigned account’s organization beyond the buyer level.
  • Will be the primary contact and will execute day to day selling responsibilities.
  • Prepare annual business plan for territory to support HGNA strategy. Support Customer and National Trade Show events as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance or other business or commercial discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience (including strategic selling and negotiation).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environment and sales organizations with multiple channels of distribution.

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as required (Approximately 75%).
