We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions Architect to elevate our infrastructure and lead our hybrid cloud initiatives.

The Senior IT Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions Architect at FYIsoft will be instrumental in the architecture, deployment, and management of a robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in various database technologies, including PostgreSQL, message queue management, and proficiency with Azure DevOps for streamlined application delivery. The ideal candidate is well-versed in both AWS and Azure platforms, bringing strong leadership and technical acumen to optimize our infrastructure and software deployments.

• Infrastructure Architecture & Deployment
  • Design, deploy, and manage a hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premise data centers and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Lead infrastructure migrations to cloud environments, leveraging the latest AWS and Azure technologies to modernize and streamline systems.
• Database & Data Management
  • Manage multiple on-premise and cloud-hosted databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, optimizing them for high performance, availability, and data security.
  • Architect data solutions that support FYIsoft’s applications, balancing efficiency, scalability, and data integrity across environments.
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
  • Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD using Azure DevOps and other relevant tools to streamline application deployment, testing, and scaling.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure management, cost optimization, and service configuration for AWS and Azure, ensuring that resources align with business needs.
  • Utilize and manage large-scale message queues (e.g., AWS SQS, Azure Service Bus) to support scalable application workflows and distributed systems.
• Security, Compliance, & Monitoring
  • Ensure security across all infrastructure layers with best practices in network security, encryption, access controls, and incident monitoring.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations, enforcing FYIsoft’s policies across cloud and on-premise systems.
• Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Partner with development, product, and support teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with software needs and business objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering technical development and ensuring adherence to best practices in IT and cloud infrastructure management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, database management, and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in on-premise database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with experience in design, deployment, and optimization.
• Deep experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms for infrastructure design, deployment, and operations.
• Advanced skills in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, and deployment management.
• Experience   in managing large-scale message queues such as AWS SQS, Azure Service Bus, or similar tools, to support distributed systems and application scalability.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, and compliance standards within cloud and on-premise environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with financial reporting software and enterprise software environments.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or IT infrastructure (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect).
• Strong project management skills, with experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
