As the Food and Warehouse Coordinator you will manage all aspects of the warehouse, food receiving and distribution process, and front-of-house operations for the Food Store (food pantry). In addition, you will recruit, train, and lead all food and warehouse volunteers, including the gleaners and Rescue Hub Food Program. You will own the responsibility of maintaining food safety certification, OSHA-compliant standards, and accurate records for food and clothing related audits and inventory.
The salary range for this position is $43,000 - $59,000 annually and is dependent upon levels of experience and/or education. Job Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the warehouse and food distribution processes, including monthly weight tracking and reporting, inventory, payment of invoices, and GCFD/audit compliance
- Maintain organization/cleanliness of warehouse, including the maintenance and replacement of equipment and trucks
- Supervise food rescue program, including the scheduling of partners and volunteer gleaners, recruiting additional volunteers and partners, and maintaining the Meal Connect GCFD data
- Recruit, onboard, and equip through regular training and communication all food/warehouse/garden volunteers, special groups (including student work programs), and truck drivers
- Participate in staff coverage rotation, team meetings, and CC-wide events planning & execution
- Cultivate existing relationships with current partners and vendors, and establish new relationships with additional partners and donors
