Installation Technician
Description

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws and regulations. 
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following organizational policies and procedures. 
  • Perform renovation and new construction work as directed to ensure the job is completed as proposed. 
  • Mix, mortar, plaster, and grout manually or using machines in accordance with required standard formulas and safety regulations. 
  • Prepare surfaces for the installation of time at jobsites. 
  • Cut material into specific sizes for installation using power saws or tile cutters. 
  • Transport and maintain machines and tools in accordance with required safety standards. 
  • Perform assigned swimming pool renovation and new construction responsibilities at commercial and residential worksites including pool preparation, demolition, drainage, and other responsibilities. 
  • Attend and participate in company, departmental and any other required meeting or function. 
  • Complete all necessary assigned documentation such as job sheets or inspection checklists. 
  • Assist in the start-up process for completed projects. 
  • Complete miscellaneous "punch-out" checklists including pressure testing.
  • Install equipment for new construction and renovation projects.
  • Effectively shut-down pool equipment correctly and drain the pool for work to be performed. 
  • Perform project responsibilities such as plumbing, basic wiring, pressure testing and basic tile work.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have a valid and clean Florida driver's license. 
  • Must have an acceptable criminal background. 
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, upon offer of employment and any time as required while employed.
