AVA Law Group is looking for a talented and exceptional legal assistant who has a high attention to detail to join our talented and growing team.
Job Overview:
The Legal Assistant provides administrative support to AVA Law Group, PLLC through effective communication within the office internally and with clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Effective client communications, including but not limited to;
- Receiving and making outbound calls
- Responding to Help Emails
- Responding to clients via “Client Communications” in our internal software
- Handling File Production to Move a clients file forward, including but not limited to;
- Onboarding (Welcoming newly retained clients to AVA Law Group)
- Reviewing and ciphering through medical records (Including Medical CDs)
- Preparing and Reviewing Claims Forms before they go to clients to sign.
- Renaming and Uploading Documents to a client’s file in our internal software.
- Proficiency with the Firm's Internal Case Management Software, including but not limited to;
- Ability to have an adaptation to use and learn the how to’s of the internal Case Management Software
- Locating a client’s file by Name, Phone Number, Email, etc.
- Updating Case Statuses
- Reviewing and Flagging a Case
- Ability to have an adaptation to use and learn the how to’s of the internal Case Management Software
- Other proficiencies Needed for various job tasks (Basic Knowledge);
- Adobe PDF Editor
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Drive (Including other Google Programs)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a legal setting or administrative setting that requires high attention to detail.
