What You'll Do:
In the Resident Coordinator role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for clients of Interfaith's Transitional and Permanent Housing and Shelter Communities and Programs. Working alongside a comprehensive team of skilled professionals. The Resident Coordinator engages with case managers and behavioral health clinicians to get the client back to self-sufficiency.
- Maintains a safe and secure living environment for clients (drug, alcohol, violence free)
- Acclimates new clients to their living arrangements; assists with client exits
- Educates clients of all program policies and procedures; enforces program policies and procedures
- Monitors client affairs and helps to resolve any issue that may arise
- Promptly notifies supervisor (as well as other appropriate staff) of any problematic client behaviors, compliance issues, or any other problems that arise
- Assigns chores to clients; oversees completion of chores and ensures safety standards are maintained at all times
- Performs drug/alcohol screenings as needed or required
- Reviews log book daily and updates next shift of any notable issues
- Accurately records all, emergency, disciplinary, and other events that occur during scheduled shift
- Immediately reports medical emergencies to the appropriate agencies/organizations; administers First Aid/CPR and follows agency protocol and standard procedures in emergency situations
- Performs wellness checks on residents as needed or required
- Participates in all staff meetings and trainings
- Works with other Resident Coordinators to maintain cohesiveness of community
- Ensures that properties always meet standards to pass Federal, State and Local inspections
- Coordinates utilities checks, fire drills and other checks/repairs as needed or required to maintain facility compliance with Federal, State and Local inspections
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Who You Are:
You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness. To thrive in this role, you'll:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year of experience working in a shelter or social services setting required; equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and homeless populations preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) certification a plus.

Hours:
1. Escondido: Part-Time
- 8am-5pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
- 4:30pm-1:30am (Thursdays and Fridays)
2. Escondido: Full Time
- 4:30pm-1:30am (Mon-Wed and Sat-Sun)
3. Oceanside: Part-Time
- 8am-5pm (Saturdays and Sundays)
- 4:30pm-1:30 am (Fridays and Saturdays)
- 12am-8:30am (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
4. Oceanside: Full Time
- Thursday-Monday 12am to 8:30 am
Hourly Rate: $18.00-$20.00
