Position Summary

The Purchasing Administrative role is an entry-level position with the opportunity to develop into a leader within the purchasing department and within M. R. Williams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales/sales support in existing and new accounts
  • Servicing (route relief) existing customers
  • Merchandising and setting existing and new accounts in a full-service capacity via direct store deliveries
  • Sales and credits of merchandise as integral responsibilities of this position. 

Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties at any time.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of retail, merchandising, or sales experience
  • Ability to be agile with daily tasks, personable, and self-sufficient.

Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements

  • This will require extensive driving and overnight stays in hotels (paid by the Company) within a 2-3 hour radius of your home
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, bending, climbing in and out of 16 ft (small) box truck.
