Role:

The People Operations Business Partner will support the People Operations function with creating and maintaining a positive work environment and Company Culture through effective and prompt employee and leadership support with leadership and employee training & development, management of employee relations matters, process improvement and more!


Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Employee Development/Training

  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of leadership and employee development training.
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Creates and/or acquires training course materials.
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, videos.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities and attendance.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

Employee Relations & People Operations Strategy

  • Conduct investigations, fact-finding conversations, employee follow-up meetings, etc. 
  • Support team members with general inquiries, particularly with regard to company policy interpretation, standards of conduct, benefits, leave, etc.
  • Conduct check-ins with team members, primarily following a leave, investigation, request for support, etc.
  • Support solutions and initiatives for improving team member experience,  increasing team member engagement, attracting and retaining top talent, etc.
  • Support with and collaborate on strategic “People” initiatives and improvements (increasing retention, reducing absenteeism, DEI, etc.)
  • Provide feedback and guidance to leaders during the performance management process, to include reviewing performance reviews, meeting with leaders/team members, surveys, etc.
  • Conduct exit interviews with team members to gather feedback for the company and leader.
  • Review team member general feedback submissions (Team Comments, Team Feedback forms) and respond accordingly and/or forward to the appropriate party

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, administration, or related field
  • Experience with professional systems (HRIS, ERM, Scheduling, HCM systems, etc.)
  • Experience with productivity and collaboration systems (Google Workspace & Google Meet preferred)
  • 4+ years’ experience in Human Resources, specifically with training and employee relations
  • SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and policies in the states in which Mindcolor operates
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication across all formats (written, verbal, via email, etc,)
  • Strong organization and administrative skills, with an attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with team members at all levels, caregivers, vendors, attorneys, etc.
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or related systems 
  • Ability to receive and apply feedback effectively and in a timely manner
  • Ability to self-motivate, excellent time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, where necessary and/or appropriate
