The Role 

The Key Accounts Sales Manager oversees the strategic management and growth of Regional and National off premise accounts within the beverage alcohol industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the off premise retail environment, capable of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening key partnerships The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong record in sales execution, account management, and complex negotiations. This role reports to the COO and is a key member of the Sales Leadership Team.

  • Secure new distribution and programming across key regional and national retail accounts 
Requirements

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key regional and national off premise accounts, including major retail chains. 
  • Lead the design and execution of sales strategies aimed at maximizing market penetration, brand visibility, and revenue growth within the off premise channel. 
  • Create and implement tailored sales strategies that address the unique dynamics of national off premise accounts, driving revenue growth and enhancing brand visibility. 
  • Create, monitor, and execute specific sales plans through incentive programs, distribution programs and instore activations. 
  • Lead complex negotiations with national retailers, securing favorable terms that maximize profitability and ensure long-term partnerships. 
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the off premise market. 
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track sales performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed. 
  • Manage A&P, T&E Budgets. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the beverage alcohol industry, focused on regional/national key account management. 
  • Proven success in securing and managing high-profile retail accounts, with strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. 
  • Experience using syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, VIP, IWSR) to inform sales strategies. 
  • Ability to work independently in a high-accountability environment. 
  • Willingness to travel frequently. 
  • Experience with EOS is a plus. 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States 
  • Must have a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license 
  • Light lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling may be required 

Pay and Benefits 

Compensation range: $125,000-$150,000 annually, plus 20% bonus potential
