Position Overview
The Service Administrator is a well-organized, highly motivated individual that provides administrative support to one of our Regional Service Managers and a team of 15+ Field Service Techs. This person must have an outgoing, upbeat demeanor along with the ability to “take charge” of the administrative workflow within our Service Department.
Essential Skills:
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.

Duties to include:
Duties include routine tasks that focus on service job tickets and their related activities.
• Work with Regional Field Managers to manage job tickets from creation to completion
• Communication Regional Field activity in daily meetings
• Review and publish regional service reports related to job tickets
• Manage technician calendars related to job tickets, meetings, and training schedules
• Research equipment availability and related sales qualification documents
• Manage the customer information related to equipment and contacts
• Organize technician overtime and weekend stipends
• Work with the Sales and Engineering departments to support install projects
• Communicate technician support needs in the field to Regional Service Managers
• Provide back-up phone support to Regional Managers
• Create parts orders requested by regional field technicians
• Create and maintain process flow documents
• Continuous improvement activities (Scheduling, best practices, initiatives)
• Additional duties as needed and assigned
A background working in a service and sales-oriented environment within a privately-owned, manufacturing company would be a huge plus. The successful candidate must bring a sense of confidentiality, diplomacy, and a positive attitude along with a thick skin, some assertiveness, and a whole lot of common sense! This will be a “go-to” position and it requires someone who, if they don’t know the answer, will enjoy figuring it out!
