Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As our RF/Microwave Design Engineer extraordinaire, your job is to unleash your superhuman abilities and develop the worlds next circuit designs from quantum computing applications to deep space and beyond. You'll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the RF and microwave industry.
Here's What You'll Be Doing:
· Designing DROs (Dielectric Resonator Oscillators), LNA (Low Noise Amplifiers), Frequency Mixers, Frequency Multipliers, Oscillators, IMAs (Integrated Microwave Assemblies), and subassemblies to 50 GHz and beyond.
· Developing next generation RF, microwave, and millimeter wave solutions for space, aerospace, space, and defense applications.
· Working with the world’s leading space and aerospace customers in understanding their unique requirements and decomposing that into product design and performance specifications.
· Working with a small team focused on delivering the highest performing RF/microwave products in the industry.
· Testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis and corrective action.
· Developing and documenting procedures and process to ensure compliance to standards.
· Participating and staying up to date with RF, microwave, and millimeter wave industry trends and breakthroughs.
What We're Looking for in Our Senior RF/Electronics Design Engineer:
· Minimum BSEE or equivalent - MSEE or equivalent preferred.
· Minimum of 7 years of experience if RF, microwave, and millimeter design and development and able to design with minimal direction.
· Extensive experience with RF/microwave circuits, subsystems, and systems
· Experience with RF chain analysis.
· Experience with RF/microwave test equipment, processes, test procedures, testing, and debug.
· Experience with designing military, aerospace, or space grade hardware.
· EMI/EMC analysis and practices and IPC standards.
· Exposure to RF, microwave, and millimeter wave manufacturing technologies (chip and wire, SMT, hybrids, die attach, wire bonding, hermetic vs non hermetic modules) for IMAs/MICs.
· Managing your projects to schedule and cost.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
· Experience with PCB layouts.
· Experience with requirements/specification management and decomposition.
