Job Summary
The Operations Specialist, Enrollments performs a variety of back-office functions related to retirement plan onboarding and recordkeeping. The position works closely with advisors, account holders, institutional clients, investment providers, and internal staff to help ensure plan participants can meet their retirement savings needs. The Operations Specialist actively participates in initiatives within the Operations department, ensuring client-specific investment requests are met. As client needs evolve, this role requires the ability to learn and adapt to new products, processes, and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage participant enrollment process
- Perform product transfers requested by participants & advisors
- Research & resolve loan payment process specifically regarding rejected ACH pulls
- Assist in any loan maintenance requests
- Perform month-end and year-end processes
- Support conversion of blocks of retirement accounts to/from the IPX platform
- Assist on Audit projects including gathering information and documenting policies/procedures
- Analyze and report on related Operations activity
- Support escalations from customer service calls, as needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- 3+ years of financial services experience, preferably in recordkeeping, TPA and/or the brokerage or mutual fund industry
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of investments and related operational processes with retirement plan services a plus
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, with internal associates, clients, fund families and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
- Experience collaborating with peers and teams

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between $45,000 and $75,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
