Description

The Director of Global Advocacy and Education at HydroPeptide will play a pivotal role in the identification, training and educational content development for our key opinion leaders, advocates and customers. This role will be responsible for creating long-term relationships with providers and working with them regularly to build brand loyalty and community engagement among HydroPeptide customers. In addition, this role actively creates educational content to be used by providers and by the sales team to educate providers in the field. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly collaborative and active leader who will work to optimize and successfully execute education and advocacy initiatives.


The details:

  • Location: Remote
  • Hours/Contract: Full Time, Typical PST business hours, will require some flexibility including evenings & weekends on occasion
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time, Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Travel requirements: Up to 75% Travel ebbs and flows and increases around times of important events such as sales meetings, trade shows, train the trainer and customer events.
  • Compensation: $140,000 plus annual bonus potential 

As the Director of Global Advocacy and Education, you will be responsible for

Advocate Development 

  • Build a global advocacy program to elevate and advance the HydroPeptide brand and to meet business goals and objectives 
  • Identify key strategic advocates to partner with for all needs such as speaking and podium engagements, social opportunities and provider training courses
  • reate customized development tracks for advocates to advance their ability to evangelize the brand
  • Act as the liaison between advocates and other members of the HydroPeptide team to ensure alignment across all departments. Support marketing, training and distribution teams with any advocate needs for key initiatives 
  • Host advisory boards and lead discussions/workshops with key influential decision makers to better understand market/product positioning as needed 
  • Manage provider contracting and ensuring contract parameters are met on both sides 
  • Responsible for onsite management and preparation of advocates at key HydroPeptide events

Provider Facing Educational Content

  • Collaborate with the Director of Training and Development to 
  1. Create necessary content to train providers on the brand to include including brand history, science, product knowledge, and protocols
  2. Build and deliver annual train-the-trainer content
  • Work closely with advocates on customized content for podium talks and training opportunities 

Team Leadership and Development

  • Actively participates in educational events, global and national sales meetings, train-the-trainer programs, and symposiums
  • Develop and track KPI’s and OKR’s for department
  • Work with team to continuously seek out new educational ideas that fit the strategy for optimizing opportunities for growth
  • Create a culture of trust, collaboration, and goal achievement within HydroPeptide
  • Challenge self and all involved to create innovative approaches to messaging, delivery, and methods that enhance engagement, knowledge retention, and sales results

Requirements

 We want you to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • 5+ years in aesthetic sales, education and/or advocacy development
  • Love to lead, ability to prioritize tasks, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze the business and identify new functional growth opportunities
  • Comfortable working alone and with small and large teams; willing to take on new challenges/opportunities as they arise
  • Driven to help the skincare professional and the HydroPeptide team that serves them to build bigger, better business.
