The Product Marketing Specialist at Hawkes Learning plays a key role in driving product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to promote and enable sales of the full portfolio of Hawkes products. This position will work closely with the content, product, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and communicate the value proposition for the product based on market research insights, ensuring products’ unique selling points are highlighted and messaging is clear and compelling.
- Create and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies that outline how products and features will be launched, promoted, and distributed, supporting product leads, facilitating product trainings, and developing launch templates.?
- Establish KPIs, lead retrospectives, and ensure alignment with expected revenue growth.? Optimize and manage budgets for these programs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Leads to be the voice of the customer in product development, delivering insights on customer needs and guiding product development initiatives.
- Partner across the sales and marketing teams to ensure customer-facing reps are enabled with knowledge they need to effectively sell and position Hawkes products.
- Coordinate GTM activities across all company functions to ensure awareness of each other’s activities and completion versus launch timelines.
- Provide support for large-adoption sales efforts by coordinating with GTM and content team on customizations or customer presentations.

The salary range for this role is competitive and considers a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 to $85,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes 30+ days of paid time off to start with additional time each year of employment, an employer 401(k) match of up to 3.5%, and a significant employer contribution to healthcare benefits. - Higher education technology industry experience is preferred, but not required
