POSITION SUMMARY

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft while complying with company and FAA rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as assigned by the Lead Mechanic.
• Accomplishes assigned maintenance tasks within the scope of the standard practice and procedures set forth by the Lead Mechanic and associated manuals and procedures.
• Complies with all company’s rules and regulations regarding industrial safety.
• Maintain equipment, tools and the workplace in a clean and orderly manner.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation regulations and manufacturer's manuals
• Subject to alcohol and drug testing program

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience: 1 year or more of piston-powered and General Aviation experience

Certificates & Licenses: Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
