Summary:
To manage and oversee assigned projects for the design, development, manufacture, delivery, and installation of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalysts in stationary combustion systems such as utility, industrial boilers, and gas turbines for maximum NOx reduction. These are complex projects, which require ongoing interaction and coordination between the Service Engineer and all departments within CORMETECH, as well as direct interaction with the customer. Provide ongoing direct interaction with customers to assure projects conform with contract requirements, preparing and submitting catalyst replacement proposals, on-site catalyst replacement (turnkey) proposals, catalyst management services, and support account managers in these responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- Technical BS Degree, preferably in Engineering or similar technical degree
- Preference for Mechanical or Structural type degrees
- Eight+ years of experience in managing multiple projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment or six+ years of direct Production or Field experience at CORMETECH
- Experience managing direct reports, preferred
Objective:
- The company executes complex projects for the design, development, manufacture, delivery, and installation of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalysts in stationary combustion systems such as utility, industrial boilers, and gas turbines for maximum NOx reduction
- The Manager of Onsite Services will support the team by tracking and assigning onsite service projects and other necessary work to team members, while retaining some projects for direct management, as appropriate
- These projects require ongoing interaction and coordination between the Service team and all departments within CORMETECH, as well as direct interaction with the customer
- The Manager provides ongoing direct interaction with customers to ensure projects conform with contract requirements, proceed according to CORMETECH standards of operation, and meet delivery, quality, and budget expectations
- The Manager works closely with the manager of project services and account managers to support RFQs, proposals, and execution of onsite services as required
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Promote proper safety practices during execution of all projects, internally and onsite
- Ensure proper maintenance of all required safety certifications, including confined space entry, lockout tag out, customer site specific trainings, etc., both personally and for the team
- Ensure Service team members are properly managing projects against timelines and budgets; report status to management as needed
- Maintain calendar of onsite service projects used to assign and track team resource allocations including personnel, testing equipment, tools, and job boxes
- Perform and/or ensure proper execution of site work that could include SCR and/or CO catalyst installations, SCR and/or CO catalyst inspections and sample collections, reactor steel inspections, NH3 grid inspections, site walks for information gathering, meeting with potential contractors, and cleaning catalyst
- Provide support, training, and guidance to all CORMETECH associates who may be assisting with onsite services
- Prepare and assemble all necessary documents to support any type of service work in the field. These documents will include SOPs, work instructions, safety data sheets, emergency action plans, contact sheets, support documents, drawings, service reports, O&M manuals, etc.
- Lead efforts to produce new procedures and work instructions for the various types of service activities offered, as needed
- Identify, recommend, and implement cost savings opportunities
- Assemble and distribute requests for quotes (RFQs) to support customer site work and evaluate vendor responses to RFQs to determine most qualified contractors
- Build customer relationships through exceptional customer service
- Identify possible opportunities to increase sales at plant sites
- Other duties as assigned

- Basic understanding of SCR catalyst operation, NH3 systems and boiler systems
- Willing and able to attend training classes to enhance knowledge of SCR systems, boilers and related chemistry
- Able to travel extensively either solo or with a group; may include limited international travel
- Works odd hours with little or no supervision, self-disciplined, high standard of ethics and require little supervision while in the office
