Description

This leadership role will oversee the administrative operations of our Physician Orthopedic practices and plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of clinical and non-clinical operations within the practice. The ideal candidate will ensure streamlined processes, thrive for continuous improvement and will ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Administrative Oversight: Oversee all administrative functions of the practice, in partnership with shared services leaders.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state licensing requirements.

Financial Management: Manage and oversee the practice's financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management.

Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Forecast and manage headcount allocation.

Patient Experience: Monitor and enhance the patient experience by implementing best practices in customer service and patient engagement.

Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and enhance the delivery of patient care.

Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure the highest standards of clinical and administrative excellence.

Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other stakeholders to optimize operational performance and achieve organizational goals.



Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (or commensurate experience); Master's degree preferred.
  • Must have 2-3 year of recent Orthopedic experience. (Required) 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in healthcare administration, with specific experience in orthopedics preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team in a high growth environment.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
