We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Clinical Services (RN) to join our team and lead our clinical operations in our Denton, TX hospice office.

Requirements

The Director of Clinical Services is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for the overall clinical operation of the Hospice agency. This role oversees a dynamic interdisciplinary team and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while delivering excellent patient care. The Director will manage the activities of the nursing team, provide clinical direction, and ensure the compliant growth and profitability of the agency. This individual will drive teamwork, lead by example, and focus on quality care.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Management: Oversee and manage the Hospice program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Team Leadership: Provide supervision and support to Hospice Clinical Staff, including RN Case Managers, LVNs, CNAs, Chaplains, and Hospice Social Workers.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the Orientation Program to assist in training, motivation, and productivity of all team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the QAPI program to ensure accuracy and regulatory fulfillment of timely documentation.
  • Compliance: Focus on Medicare Quality Measures and other industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Staffing: Ensure that staffing ratios are sound and patient-focused.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Coordination: Oversee the IDT process, leading all disciplines to ensure quality care coordination.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Manage all client complaints to achieve patient/family satisfaction.
  • Mission Alignment: Lead all disciplines to embrace the organization’s mission and philosophy.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Work with the Finance Team to create budgets and embrace all fiscal programs established by the Executive Team.
  • Operational Support: Support all operational business as well as clinical objectives.
  • Work Environment: Create a positive work environment for all team members and lead the team to exceed expectations and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of you are applying or compact license
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience, preferably in a hospice or home health setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and financial operations.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Salary Description
$95,000 - $105,000
