Overall responsibility: The primary purpose of this role is to be a perform day to day Data Analysis, create tableau dashboards and reports, and Data stewardship of data related to Consumer BI. This individual will work with the channel leads and Primary Data stewards to identify data attributes, create business definitions and metrics on Ataccama, create functional and business requirements documents, create ETL pipelines, design and develop BI dashboards and help create artifacts that enable the channel manager to identify key metrics and collaborate with business stakeholders. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze data using tools like Tableau, Snowflake, tableau data prep, SQL and create dashboards or reports that address key business metrics
• One of the major responsibilities of this role is that of a Data Steward – understand the data landscape of Consumer BI, identify and classify data assets, monitor these assets for data quality issues, and overall be responsible for the data in these assets 
• Experience with Ataccama Data governance tool. The Data Steward is expected to use Ataccama for all Data governance related documentation including maintenance of Business Glossary, creating and monitoring Data Quality rules and approving any changes that require review on these Data Assets. 
• Identify data that needs to be analyzed and work with BI developers to extract, transform and store this data 
• Create Monitor ETL process and debug the technical issue to make sure the dashboard is delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Manage and enhance existing tableau dashboards in their portfolio and answer questions related to the metrics and data related to these dashboards
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver fully functional BI deliverables that are actionable and meet business needs.
• Remain current on all changes to regulations and the systems, ensuring the timely implementation of all revisions. 
• Document, articulate and present key findings or deliverables to a diverse audience. Ability to follow up and provide status updates when required. 
• Work in an Agile environment, handle deliverables assigned in a sprint, work with JIRA to update stories and participate in agile rituals like sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint retrospective 

Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related field is required. (2) years of total experience with BI technologies such as Snowflake, tableau and SQL.

Company / Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in a technology field is a must. Prior experience in banking, credit union or financial services industries is strongly preferred. 

Other Experience:

• Minimum of One (1) year of experience in a field related to Consumer Banking products including auto loans (both direct and indirect), personal loans, student loans, and credit cards is preferred.
• Extensive and proven Data, Analytical skills required. 
• Experience with Ataccama/Collibra or any Data governance tool will be a major plus.
• Hands-on skills in Tableau, SQL and working with large datasets are required. 
• Experience with R, Python, Snowflake will be a plus. 
• Expert in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely.
• Extensive experience in demonstrating initiative-taking, decision-making and creativity solving business problems.
