Summary/Objective
Under the supervision of the Controller, we are looking for a Junior accounting professional with interest in general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, Inventory review/audit) cost and manufacturing. Proven analytical and communication skills. Works independently as well as in a team setting, will communicate with various departments within the company.

Accounting:
- Assist in multiple phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to AP, AR, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and closing process
- Assist with reconciling and preparing journal entries for month end and year end process
- Assist on the accounts receivable side with customer inquiries.
- Help maintain balance sheet, P&L, and departmental support
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze perpetual inventory locations for accuracy and valuation through performing cycle count audits
- Identifies improvements for internal processes and controls.
- Assist with preparation of schedules for mid-year and year end audits
- Ad hoc analyses and projects, as needed.
Required Competencies
- Understanding of ERP manufacturing system
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills strong in Excel.
- Excellent communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and computer skills required.
- Ability to interface with members of other departments and corporate staff.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.
Work Environment.
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position which operates during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Advanced degree and/or related certification a plus
