Accounts Payable Administrator
Description

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for managing vendor accounts and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Our AP Administrators work closely with other departments to verify and record transactions, maintain accurate records, and resolve account discrepancies.


Reports To: Accounting Manager


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and accurately posted.
  • Respond to all vendor and departmental inquiries promptly. Verify, research, and resolve discrepancies related to payments and billing issues.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Generate, analyze, and report on AP aging analysis.
  • Maintain accounts payable vendor files and records, accurately entering data into the DMS system.

Hours:

The Accounting Department operates during the following hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
