Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Northeast Regional Outside Sales Representative with a hunter mentality to drive sales, open new towns, and restore past programs in the state of New York and Pennsylvania. This role will also be focused on expanding our brand awareness, securing sponsorship opportunities, and enhancing our digital presence to increase visibility and engagement across the region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and skilled in new business development, fostering brand recognition, and utilizing digital strategies to maximize impact.
About Us: We believe in supporting young families and Traditional values by offering a dignified Public Relations Service to business owners in small towns (populations 3,000-30,000). We do this through recognizing local business leaders in a bereavement volume that goes to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Our program offers care and concern when it matters most and reminds the recipients that their community is with them through their loss.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development & Territory Expansion:
- Identify and target new towns, cities, and regions in the Midwest for expansion, establishing the company as the go-to brand.
- Use a hunter mentality to actively prospect, generate leads, and close deals through cold calling, networking, and outreach.
- Develop tailored strategies for entering new markets while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals.
Restoring Past Programs:
- Identify underperforming or dormant regions and develop plans to re-establish the brand and boost sales.
- Reconnect with former customers, cultivate new relationships, and reintroduce the company to previously established towns.
- Leverage digital tools and social media to amplify outreach efforts and restore past programs
Brand Awareness & Sponsorship Strategy:
- Promote and elevate the company’s brand in key Midwest markets through grassroots efforts and digital campaigns.
- Secure and manage sponsorship opportunities to enhance visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sponsorships with overarching digital strategies, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in new and restored markets.
- Provide personalized service and solutions that meet the needs of individual clients while supporting company objectives.
- Use digital tools to streamline communication and ensure regular check-ins and follow-ups with prospects and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Travel 5 days a week, working 1-2 towns per week
- 5-10 years’ experience as an outside sales representative, with a strong focus on new business development, market expansion, and client relationship management.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting and closing deals in new and revived markets.
- Ability to manage multiple regions, clients, and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and digital marketing tools.
