As a med tech, your primary responsibility is delivering personalized resident care for all our community members, which requires intimately knowing every resident and their unique needs.


Other primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist residents with medication management, including pouring and passing medications to residents in strict compliance with physicians orders
  • Ensure all medication documentation is current and accurate
  • Coordinate medication orders and deliveries with pharmacies and ensure the medication room is neat, clean, organized and maintained consistent with all applicable standards and procedures
  • Monitor psychotropic medication use is consistent with physician orders and ensure resident behaviors actually warrant the use of medication
  • Assist residents with personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, using the bathroom and grooming
  • Assist residents with mobility issues, including escort and transfer
  • Assist residents with housekeeping, such making the bed and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
  • Consistently utilize eHR (electronic medical records) and other systems to ensure resident care is accurately tracked and delivered consistent with each resident’s care plan
  • Observe residents for safety and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to Resident Services Director
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED, preferred
  • Experience interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
  • Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work Sunday - Thursday, 2pm - 10pm

Salary Description
$18 - $21 per hour (based on experience)
