Description
- Develop and manage competitive pricing models for Non-QM loans, adjusting for market conditions, internal guidelines, and economic factors
- Administer pricing engine setup (e.g., OB, LoanNEX) and ensure accurate pricing updates
- Develop and oversee bulk bidding and pricing, ensuring alignment with loan sale execution
- Serve as the primary contact for correspondent leadership and sales team, addressing pricing and performance issues
- Manage lock and mandatory desk operations, ensuring timely loan lock execution
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to update pricing strategies
- Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize pricing and operational capacity for margin growth
- Support cross-functional teams (sales, underwriting, operations) to ensure alignment on pricing and product offerings
- Leverage Encompass to streamline loan origination and pricing processes
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in correspondent pricing as the investor
- Strong understanding of mortgage banking economics, including correspondent lending revenue generation
- Understanding of the Non-QM market and pricing elements
- Experience with bulk bidding, pricing engines (OB, LoanNEX), and lock/mandatory desk operations
- Proficiency in Encompass or similar LOS platforms
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling) and familiarity with financial data tools
- Effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
