Summary: The Advisor Relationship Manager serves as a trusted partner to financial advisors, recordkeepers, TPAs, broker-dealers, and financial institutions by supporting voluntary and involuntary IRA programs, rollover solutions, and retirement plan-related services.
This role is responsible for onboarding new clients, managing ongoing client relationships, driving client satisfaction, and supporting the growth objectives of the organization. The RM acts as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and works closely with Operations, Compliance, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver exceptional client experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned small- to mid-market clients.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, recordkeepers, TPAs, and strategic partners.
· Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
· Respond to client inquiries and resolve service-related issues in a timely manner.
· Identify opportunities to expand client engagement and increase utilization of retirement and rollover solutions.
· Coordinate with internal teams to support client needs and strategic initiatives.
Client Onboarding & Implementation
· Support onboarding and implementation activities for new clients and partners.
· Coordinate account setup, operational workflows, and service expectations.
· Assist with implementation timelines and project coordination.
· Educate clients on platform capabilities, service offerings, and retirement account processes.
· Ensure successful client adoption and transition to ongoing relationship management.
Operational Excellence
· Maintain accurate client records, activity tracking, and documentation within CRM systems.
· Partner with Operations, Compliance, Product, and Service teams to deliver seamless client experience.
· Assist with client reporting, service reviews, and performance metrics.
· Support continuous process improvement initiatives designed to enhance scalability, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
· Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Business Development Support
· Support proposal development, due diligence requests, and RFP responses.
· Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams on client initiatives and feedback.
· Partner with senior Relationship Managers and Sales leadership to support business growth objectives.
· Provide market and client insights to support product enhancements and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Required
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
· 2–5 years of experience in retirement services, wealth management, financial services, account management, client service, or relationship management.
· Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
· Knowledge of IRA products, rollover solutions, and retirement plan administration.
· Experience supporting financial advisors, recordkeepers, TPAs, broker-dealers, or financial institutions.
· Understanding of retirement industry regulations and best practices.
· Experience with implementations, onboarding, or project coordination.
