Description
To assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs directly and through other Credit Union staff; provides expertise with respect to more complex Credit Union services such as IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfer, home banking, etc.; explains services, sets up new accounts, processes loan applications, responds to issues, and directs members to the appropriate people.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services, and resolves problems within one's authority.
- Assists other Financial Sales Representatives with technical problems and questions relating to complicated products and regulations. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with recommendations.
- Processes member loan applications accurately. Ensures requested documentation is received timely to support the loan decisioning process.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
- Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
- Maintains member account information on computer system.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience:Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education: A high school education or GED.
- Interpersonal Skills A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
- Other Skills Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong verbal, written and public speaking skills and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of regulations within the credit union industry. Strong word processing skills. Able to operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.

Salary Description
$21- $27 / hour
