A day in the life.... The Assistant golf Course Superintendent will:

• Assist in all aspects of daily golf course maintenance and operation ensuring the playability of the course is up to the high standards we require.
• Identifying, evaluating, and recommending corrective action for agronomic problem areas, including funguses, pests, and drainage issues along with inspecting the irrigation systems.
• Consult with superintendent and Senior assistant daily to plan and supervise crew member tasks and maintenance of golf course.
• Instruct and Manage crew members on proper equipment operation and projects as assigned.
• Conduct and oversee fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Assist with safety programs, training, and record keeping
• Understanding of and ability to utilize golf course software applications such as EZLocator, Task Tracker, TDR Fieldscout, Playbooks Coverage, Drones, and camera work.

 You own this is you have...

• 2 or 4-year Turfgrass degree or a degree in a related field is preferred
• 1-3 years golf course maintenance experience
• Experience operating golf course equipment
• Pesticide calculation, calibration and application experience
• Experience managing small crews
• Irrigation experience a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver License is a must in order to operate the motor vehicles
• Ability to obtain a Wyoming Pesticide License within 90 days
• Willingness to use Google Translate in lieu of Spanish proficiency
