What You’ll Do
As the VP of Business Development, you’ll lead our channel strategy, partnership development, marketing and
corresponding lead generation efforts across TRUCE and be an integral part of our management team, reporting
to the CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to step up into a broad executive role as we expand into new product
areas and markets. Since we are in startup mode with our new offerings, you’ll need to be simultaneously hands-
on and strategic in your approach.
In this role, you’ll:
- Drive lead generation
- Create new partner relationships and nurture existing partners including e.g., Apple, Verizon
- Develop TRUCE’s brand and positioning
- Support the development of TRUCE’s growth strategy
- Collaborate across R&D, product, customer success, support and other TRUCE teams
- Roll up your sleeves and wear many hats
Location
This is a remote position within the United States. Occasional travel for company and industry events and meetings with partners and customers is required, giving you the chance to meet with our team and connect with others in the industry.

Ideal Work Experience
- Required: 6–10 years (with 4+ years in leadership) in market facing roles with proven success driving growth in SaaS or mobile software
- Required: Experience working in a start-up or growth-company environment
- A plus: Experience with K-12 school IT solutions
- A plus: Experience with telematics solutions (e.g., vehicle dash-cam, telematics or OBD-II)
