Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading department initiatives to achieve strategic corporate objectives. The Manager researches, analyzes, revises, and maintains company HRIS system, benefits, compliance and talent management programs that contribute to creating an engaging culture. The successful candidate demonstrate broad competencies and relevant experience in core HR functions and embrace the companies values and mission.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Ability to manage the HRIS system and respond to data requests;
· Positive people-interaction skills, responsiveness and proven experience leading internal and external talent branding campaigns.
· Ability to understand strategic business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company;
· Ability to collaborate with the creating of a vision and goals for a HR team and inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence in terms of customer support and core HR processes;
· Reviews, drafts and communicates human resource policies and updates the assists with the update of the Employee Handbook on an annual basis;
· Audits HRIS data to ensure accuracy of reports and other requests with managing the talent acquisition efforts and assisting with full cycle recruiting efforts;
· Collaborates with leadership to implement meaningful employee engagement initiatives;
· Oversees successful utilization and promotion of the employee recognition program;.
· Ensures compliance in a variety of areas including but not limited to FMLA, FLSA, ADA-AA, EEO, ACA, I-9 and immigration issues, etc.
· Responds to inquiries regarding policies, programs, and company procedures
· Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable Human Resource federal and state requirements; conduct investigations, maintain records and represent the agency at hearings.
· Compile data and reports related to compensation, staffing, unemployment, worker’s compensation, separations, etc. Analyze trends and make recommendations where adjustments and improvements are needed.
· Manage the update of job descriptions for all positions.
· Conduct and analyze exit interviews and report issues requiring attention to appropriate management.
· Assist with the coordination regarding company use of insurance brokers, third party administrators and other outside sources. With assistance of brokers, maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits; assist in studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; direct the process of benefit claims; obtain and evaluate benefit contract bids.
· Recommend strategies to improve engagement, corporate culture and employee relations; monitor culture through surveys, program evaluations and other communications.
· Maintain a strong knowledge base through professional development, training, and continuing education, as well as through a network of contacts in the Human Resources field to keep current on legislative regulations and issues, as well as industry trends and best practices.

· Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, Psychology or related field
· 4+ years of relevant broad experience in human resources with an emphasis on HRIS, benefits design and administration, compliance, performance management training and compensation.
· 2+ years of proven HRIS management experience;
· Independent thinking, strong organizational, time management and planning abilities as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to think and plan strategically while also using innovative approaches.
· Possess critical management skills including conflict management and strategy creation and implementation.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to all Company operations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including group speaking, training and interpersonal skills.
· Strong internal and external customer service focus.
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
· Must be able to multitask, use critical problem-solving techniques, and lead department initiatives.
· Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge in federal/state regulations/laws for the workplace.
· Ability to lead with passion, integrity, and empathy.

Preferred Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of progressive experience in Human Resource management
· Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Organization or related field with a focus in Human Resource Management.
· Experience understanding diligence issues regarding merger and acquisition activity.
· Experience working in a private equity backed company.
· Excellent working knowledge with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
· SCP/CP or PHR/SPHR certification
Normal Working Hours and Conditions: Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.
Physical Requirements: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
