Job Overview:
The Compliance/Quality Coordinator/Auditor under the direction of the Director of Compliance develops and implements the quality improvement program for Jordan Valley Senior Care. This includes annual review and update of the quality improvement plan, development and implementation of program-wide and center-specific quality indicators, data management, education, and training of program staff around quality improvement, preparation of routine and special reports, and coordination of improvement efforts arising from monitoring activities. In addition, will be responsible for conducting ongoing review of 340B pharmacy program utilizing established criteria and auditing tools. Auditor will be responsible for additional operational and compliance auditing processes to include reconciliation of any variances. Auditor will keep current with coding standards, and 340B regulations/program changes, policies, and procedures, and understanding accessing and utilizing various vendor software products, as applicable. Auditor will participate in compliance meetings and vendor calls, as appropriate. Auditor will prepare management reports of completed audits, benchmarking, trends, and patterns as well as other data metrics. Auditor will assist the Director of Compliance in the completion of additional reports, reviews and gathering data and metrics for investigations, audits, or certification/reviews as identified. Auditor will prepare, implement, and complete a biannual peer review audit as directed by the Director of Compliance.
Duties:
- Completes audits of the 340B pharmacies to promote documentation improvement and assure compliance with government oversight.
- Responsible for compliance with CMS PACE and State PACE quality data, monitoring, and reporting.
- Adheres to defined scope of audits and timelines for completion of audits.
- Keeps current with coding standards, 340B regulations/program changes, applicable service standards and regulations, PACE standards manual, policies and procedures and industry best practices.
- Compiles audit results and creates requested reports tailoring to appropriate audiences.
- Facilitates other on-going or periodic compliance audits as assigned per annual work plan following the same plan to include process improvement and education opportunities and implementation.
- Assist the Director of Compliance in the completion of additional reports, reviews and gathering data and metrics for investigations, audits or certification/reviews as identified.
- Attends and participates in compliance meetings, departmental meetings, committee meetings, team meetings and vendor calls, as assigned. When requested, attendance will be in person.
- Attains all agreed goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years in compliance/coding auditing.
- Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement.
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical background
- Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Technology, Health Care Administration, or bachelor’s in science.
- Master’s degree desirable.
- Coding credential or coding auditing credential.
- CPHQ certification
