As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the product lifecycle by translating healthcare industry requirements into technical specifications, working with stakeholders to ensure alignment, and collaborating with development teams to bring product visions to life. You will leverage your healthcare expertise to understand end-user needs, monitor product performance, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to define and document product requirements based on healthcare industry needs, with a focus on patient access solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities within the healthcare space, focusing on patient access, insurance verification, and related areas.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure product alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Assist in the development of wireframes, prototypes, and product specifications, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical documentation.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies, acting as a key resource to ensure development teams fully understand requirements.
  • Work closely with QA teams to create and review test plans, ensuring all requirements are met and products meet high standards of functionality, usability, and quality.
  • Monitor product performance, conduct post-release evaluations, and use data-driven insights to recommend enhancements.
  • Support product launches by creating training materials, user guides, and conducting demos to ensure seamless adoption by end users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a preferred background in healthcare, patient access, or medical technology.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry workflows, particularly in patient access, insurance verification, and appointment management.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with product management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Aha! (preferred).
  • Experience with UX/UI principles and ability to work with designers on product mockups and wireframes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in patient access technologies, healthcare interoperability, or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA.
  • Background in data analysis, with the ability to interpret healthcare data to drive product improvements.


Salary Description
$85,000 to $100,000 per year
