We are seeking a talented and technically adept Product Analyst with a background in financial services to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Financial Services, this full-time, remote position plays a vital role in supporting the product lifecycle by gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business and functional requirements. The Product Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, aligning product development efforts with business goals, ensuring clarity in requirements, and assisting in driving continuous improvement in product offerings. As a Product Analyst, you will leverage your technical and analytical skills to understand end-user needs, translate business requirements into actionable insights, and work with the development team to ensure successful implementation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to define and document product requirements based on the financial services industry’s needs, focusing on digital banking, payment processing, and customer experience.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, pain points, and opportunities within the financial services domain to drive product innovations and enhancements.
  • Prioritize Requirements: Gather, document, and prioritize requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with Paysign’s business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate in Product Design: Assist in developing wireframes, prototypes, and product specifications, ensuring complex business requirements are captured accurately and aligned with product strategy.
  • Support Agile Development Processes: Act as a key resource during Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming, working closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work with QA teams to review test plans, ensuring all requirements are met and products meet high standards of functionality, usability, and quality.
  • Monitor Product Performance: Track product performance, gather post-release feedback, and use data-driven insights to recommend and prioritize product enhancements.
  • Technical Acumen Development: Develop familiarity with Paysign’s system architecture, APIs, and data models to enhance the quality of requirements documentation and to anticipate possible technical considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, ideally with experience in financial services, digital payments, or fintech.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications that drive product success.
  • Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile development teams, participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity in requirements.
  • Experience with Product Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Aha! for requirements management and collaboration.
  • Basic UX/UI Knowledge: Ability to work with designers on product mockups and wireframes to create user-friendly experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in the prepaid industry, mobile applications, or SaaS platforms is highly preferred.
  • Understanding data modeling and system architecture.
  • Cross-functional experience with a focus on technical and business alignment.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with product development frameworks.
Salary Description
$85,000 to $100,000 per year
