The Role
As an HVAC Comfort Consultant you play a pivotal role in driving Go Green's sales metrics. As a dynamic and essential member of our sales force, you'll engage closely with customers to understand their HVAC needs and recommend solutions that align perfectly with their requirements. Your role is not just about sales; it's about building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic consultation. This full-time position is office-based, offering you a chance to be at the heart of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with customers, guiding them towards making informed decisions on HVAC products and services that best meet their needs.
- Negotiate and seal deals by developing key client relationships, ensuring you meet your sales targets.
- Generate accurate and detailed sales proposals, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to installation.
- Conduct pre-installation preparations, including video recordings, photos, material lists, and takeoffs, as well as completing duct load and heat loss calculations, ensuring that our installation teams are fully prepared for each project.
- Educate and excite customers about Go Green Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical, encouraging them to become brand advocates.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of your market area, understanding customer needs to tailor your sales strategy effectively.

- Actively participate in networking groups such as BNI or the Chamber of Commerce to generate leads and contribute to the business's growth through networking efforts.
- Conduct post-installation home visits to perform comprehensive walkthroughs of the completed project, educating the customer on their new system, and addressing any questions to ensure complete satisfaction and foster repeat business.

Requirements
- Demonstrated success in a sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong financial acumen, capable of determining job profitability and understanding the impact of operational activities on results.
- IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective presentation and public speaking capabilities.
- Familiarity with local codes and comprehensive knowledge of company product lines, enabling confident discussions with clients.
- An outgoing personality that meshes well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
