Overview
Reporting to our Business Development Representatives Team Lead, Zylo is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to help triple Zylo's sales pipeline to achieve audacious goals with some of the finest customers in the world. Now it’s your turn to generate more opportunities to expand our impact to help companies be able to discover, track, maintain, and govern all of their SaaS applications in one place.
What you will do
- Enjoy the hunt and be excited by building and growing the pipeline of business.
- Focus on Customer First by being the voice of Zylo through researching, emailing, and social selling to customers.
- Deliver and Expect Results by consistently hitting or exceeding monthly and annual sales quotas.
- Highlight the importance of drawing deep insights about each prospect using a combination of detail orientation and supportive technology.
- Craft clear, concise, personalized, and relevant messaging to key stakeholders.
- Manage prospect accounts like a book of business, exceeding expectations for timely and relevant follow-ups with potential customers.
- Navigate through organizations with discovery by identifying and speaking to the necessary decision maker.
- Cultivate Trust by seamlessly handing off the qualified pipeline to support our Account Executive team.
- Accurately track customer interactions and information in Salesforce.
- Approach senior executives with a highly personalized, relevant message to gauge their challenges related to SaaS Management, and position Zylo as a potential solution to those challenges.
What you need
- 1+ year of relevant experience in highly personalized outbound sales, SaaS, or IT environment
- Sold into or relationship management with enterprise organizations
- Proven success while being held to metrics
- High sense of urgency, experience handling multiple motions and the aptitude to multitask
- Experience with collaboration as part of a team
- Ability to self-manage critical tasks and craft personalized and relevant messaging at scale
- Creativity to think outside the box to connect with engaged prospects
- Actively seek and implement feedback
- Thrive on change while remaining optimistic and coachable
- This role does have hybrid flexibility (2 days in office) with travel expectations to events (1-2x/quarter).
Nice to have
- Sold into multiple personas: C-level, IT, Finance, or Procurement
- Knowledgeable in computer systems (GSuite, Gong, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator)
- Location: We are prioritizing candidates located in Indianapolis, IN but we are open to remote candidates in the US for the right person.
