Role Objective:


The International Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the safe, efficient, and timely operation of private jet charters worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of international aviation regulations, flight planning, and customer service excellence. The dispatcher will act as a central communication hub, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, flight crews, maintenance teams, and external authorities.


Essential Job Tasks:


Flight Planning and Coordination

  • Create and file comprehensive flight plans, considering weather, airspace restrictions, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance.
  • Ensure compliance with international aviation regulations, customs, and immigration requirements.
  • Coordinate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and ground handling teams to secure necessary permits and clearances for global operations.
  • Manage route optimization for cost-efficiency and operational safety.

Operational Management

  • Monitor all aspects of flight operations in real-time, ensuring punctuality and addressing unforeseen disruptions.
  • Maintain direct communication with flight crews, providing updates on weather, routing changes, and operational advisories.
  • Collaborate with ground handling agents to arrange services such as fueling, catering, and passenger handling.
  • Schedule and coordinate aircraft maintenance in collaboration with technical teams, ensuring operational readiness.

Customer Service and Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering updates on itineraries and addressing specific needs or concerns.
  • Provide professional and timely responses to last-minute changes, emergencies, or special requests.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, regulatory authorities, and corporate clients.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all flights comply with international and local regulations, including ICAO, FAA, EASA, and regional authorities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of flight operations, permits, and client preferences. 
  • Stay informed about geopolitical developments, travel advisories, and international restrictions that may impact operations.

Work Authorization:


Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.


Work Environment:

  • Work is generally performed within an office environment at the company office in Ocoee, Florida with standard office equipment available, as well as at outside at customer events Work will also need to be performed from a remote location, as the demands of this role require work after standard office hours. 
  • Flexible work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support global operations. Ability to work in a high-stress environment with rapid decision-making requirements. Remote or on-site opportunities, depending on company policy and location.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.  
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.  
  • Constantly operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication.  
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  
  • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently.  
  • Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others.

No travel will be required. 


Required Education/Experience:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in flight dispatch or operations within the aviation industry, with an emphasis on international operations. Familiarity with private jet charter operations is highly preferred. 
  • Certifications FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate or equivalent is preferred. ICAO-based licensing or certifications are a plus.

Salary Description
$60k - $80k/ annually
