What You Will Be Doing

EMA is looking for a Consultant to join our project teams driving positive change for some of the largest water utilities across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate has been exposed to a breadth of different experiences and assignments. In this role, you will have hands-on, practical opportunities to grow in your career alongside your peers and experienced colleagues.


Your role will include supporting clients in implementing new technologies, assessing and redesigning business processes, and using organizational and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. You will also lead individual project tracks related to system selection, system implementation, testing, training and integration projects. We develop lasting relationships with our clients and collaborate effectively to help them achieve their mission of delivering clean and safe water for the communities they serve.

  • Driven to help build healthy communities and preserve natural environments by supporting water and wastewater utilities.
Requirements
  •  Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of solid experience with CIS implementation in water/wastewater or gas/electric customer service environment (or similar industry). To include configuration, development, and/or technical or functional testing for products for utilities.
  • 1-2 years managing small or medium size projects with responsibilities in resource management, milestone tracking, scheduling and budgeting.
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: US 
  • Travel: Up to 50%


 Skills Desired

  • Strong consulting experience with a professional service organization
  • Strong interest in collaborative work with clients
  • High-level Experience with application integration 
  • Extensive experience with customer information-service connection, meter reads, rating, billing, payment      processing, collections, field service, and meter management
  • Ability to lead a project track or small project by ensuring quality work, outcomes met, and track/project is      completed within schedule and budget
  • CAPM or PMP certification would be an asset
