Position Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for both developing & maintaining relationships with business clients to drive the adoption and usage of CAMWorks software.
Being able to truly understand the unique needs of our diverse clients is critical to the success of this position. Having excellent communication skills, the ability to understand technical concepts within a range of manufacturing industries and being able to stay current on industry trends are all vital aspects of the role.
The position involves educating customers on CAMWorks solutions and ensuring satisfaction with our products. Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams to support clients’ technical needs and achieve sales quotas.
Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and CAM software, particularly within SolidWorks, is highly preferred.
Further Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, manage, and grow client accounts by understanding business needs and presenting CAMWorks solutions to meet their requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the sales and implementation process.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand product offerings and translate complex concepts into value-driven solutions for clients.
- Maintain an understanding of CAMWorks software packages and their applications within the manufacturing and SolidWorks environments.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth or additional services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics related to client engagement and software adoption.

- Proven track record of success in sales and services.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and client retention.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with CAM Software technology or experience working with the following industries, Industrial Products, Automotive/Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Consumer Products, High Tech, Medical Device & Lifesciences, would be highly beneficial.
