We are hiring an Associate Technical Analyst with an emphasis on configuration and quality assurance to join our team of IT professionals working directly with our clients installing, configuring, and testing RSI’s products. Our Associate Technical Analysts are critical thinkers, have great attention to detail, are self-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable working with internal teams and clients.
Internally, this role is titled Technical Analyst, Associate.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure audit execution software according to design requirements.
- Ensuring the quality of RSI’s overall compliance implementations, including but not limited to preparing and creating test plans, test cases/scenarios, preparing test data, conducting system testing, supporting user acceptance testing, and documenting defects for RSI’s audit execution software across one or more projects.
- Attend client engagements for the purposes of documenting business requirements to assemble client documentation for review by stakeholders and development teams.
- Assist with the preparation of training materials and documentation, including user manuals based on configured solutions.
- Provide implementation support services to RSI clients on IT consulting engagements
- Maintain and perform product testing for each new release of RSI’s audit execution software and its add-on products.
- Maintain and perform the full suite of product regression tests on a quarterly basis for RSI’s audit execution software and for any of its major product releases
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IST, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Software Engineering, English, or related field or equivalent experience
- Immediate authorization to work in the US
- Relevant work experience and/or internships in the areas of Information Technology
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile methodologies is a plus
- Exposure (through school or work experience) to SQL and Databases, such as Microsoft Access
- Professional business demeanor with a customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint to create professional documentation, prepare presentations for client meetings, write user stories, and test cases according to RSI’s defined standards and templates.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to design requirements in a timely manner
- Any working experience in the tax and revenue industry, particularly audit a plus
Per client requirements for this role, you will be required to travel to Annapolis, MD during your first week to complete in-person onboarding steps. Costs and coordination associated with client travel will be covered by RSI.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. However, it’s possible for an individual to be hired at a salary outside of this range.
