Position Summary
Translate concepts into engaging visual designs for both print and digital media, ensuring alignment with our branding and marketing strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to create graphics, and manage the design process from concept to completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, brainstorm ideas, and translate written and verbal ideas into designs that resonate with our audiences.
- Design materials for a wide range of media, including brochures, reports, digital content, presentations, ads, and web pages, using creative software suites to generate final products.
- Maintain consistency in visual messaging and brand identity across all platforms.
- Build wireframes and design web pages and emails to support the digital marketing efforts.
- Help to ensure the legibility, ease-of-use, accuracy, and precision of all of our materials.
- Edit images (retouch, manipulate) as needed for various projects using editing software (Photoshop).
- Build and maintain creative assets library including logos, photos, and graphic resources.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of related Graphic Design experience. Background in financial or corporate design not required, but preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.F.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven graphic design experience including layout, composition, and typography skills. Data visualization skills and the ability to represent concepts visually. Strong organization of working files, linked images, and versions control.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), and knowledge of HTML, CSS and web/UX standards. Some knowledge of video and web/multimedia is a plus.

Benefits and Salary
Griffin Capital’s salary ranges are determined by role, duration of direct experience, and internal and external pay equity considerations.
- The base salary range for this exempt full-time position is $70,000 - $95,000 + bonus eligibility + benefits.*
