WithersRavenel is recruiting a Human Resources Coordinator to join the Human Resources Team in the downtown Cary, NC office (Rogers Building).  In this role you will accurately execute a variety of administrative tasks related to HR projects and initiatives. This role has a significant focus on supporting the effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources Department and overall employee experience. This position is responsible for continuously evaluating and optimizing operational efficiencies and promoting excellence in internal customer service.   


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR department. 
  • Assists with the preparation of bi-weekly new hire orientation.
  • Supports the employee onboarding and offboarding processes including the creation of onboarding schedules, online onboarding processing and the preparation of separation paperwork. 
  • Completes HR sponsored tasks including but not limited to Tuition and Licensure reimbursements, Expense Reports, PDH certificates, scheduling new hire check in and employment separation meetings and tracking employee development plan progression. 
  • Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.

This is a hybrid role working out of our downtown Cary, NC office, where employees and supervisors collaborate to establish an in- and out-of-office schedule that “works” for all involved.  Due to the nature of this role, you will work a minimum of three to four days a week in the office.

Requirements
  • Associates degree in related field, or equivalent years of experience.  Bachelor's degree preferred.  
  • 0-4+ years of prior HR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
