Position Overview:

Hart, a fast-growing healthcare IT company specializing in healthcare data interoperability solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Strategic Marketing. This leadership role will drive the strategic direction of the marketing team to support our long-term business goals, increase market share, and expand product offerings. The Director of Strategic Marketing will work cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with business objectives, product development, and sales initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Business Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the company’s 1-3 year business plan, focusing on expansion within our healthcare data platform and new product lines.
  • Align marketing initiatives with revenue goals, targeting $10 million in 2025, $19 million in Year 2026, and $39 million in 2027.
  • Lead market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for growth within the healthcare IT space, particularly in health systems with more than six facilities and community hospitals.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure the marketing strategy supports business goals such as market-focused innovation, operational maturity, and expansion into adjacent markets, including life sciences research.

Product Management and Market Share Expansion

  • Lead product management efforts by defining, refining, and executing on current and future product roadmaps in collaboration with the R&D, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Oversee market segmentation, pricing strategies, and product positioning to maximize adoption and growth across key markets.
  • Add to, update and maintain the product catalog in Hubspot.  
  • Utilize market insights to guide product evolution, ensuring alignment with customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Drive product launch initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful market penetration.

Marketing Execution and Sales Enablement

  • Lead the execution of the marketing strategy through campaigns, events, content creation, and digital marketing efforts in collaboration with downstream counterparts.
  • Support the sales team by developing targeted marketing collateral, sales tools, and resources that align with sales cycles and customer pain points.
  • Plan and manage trade shows, webinars, conferences, and other events to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Drive consistent communication and coordination between marketing and sales to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives and revenue goals.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare or healthcare IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, particularly in healthcare IT and data interoperability.
  • Proven track record of leading successful go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Experience with product management and developing product roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a focus on execution and results.
