Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining an overall safe and clean environment for clients, residents, visitors, volunteers, staff and all stakeholders at the YWCA Northeast Indiana facility. Ensure smooth operation of YWCA Information Technology by proactively and efficiently troubleshooting all software, hardware, server connection interruptions in order to maintain effective operations.

Essential Duties:
Building Maintenance:
- Oversee physical maintenance of all facilities and properties including mechanical and structural services, and property services such as landscaping and snow removal, helping to select and oversee work of outside contractors.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and facilities including minor plumbing repair, lighting replacements, light wall repair and painting.
- Ensure accuracy of repair/maintenance log.
- Support ordering of maintenance and housekeeping supplies.
- Support vehicle maintenance and repair.
Operation Coordination:
- Support maintenance and update of Emergency Action Plan, MSDS, Stericycle scheduling, and other safety records as required.
- Schedule/implement/support regular safety drills.
- Support Board Threat Assessment Team.
- Manage and order office supplies.
- Maintain compliance with state standards.
- Maintain accurate and appropriate records.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a high quality work environment to perform at the highest level.
- Oversee YWCA contracts and serve as the main point of contact for coordination of services.
Information Technology Support:
- Maintain on site phone and internet systems; working with providers of these services as needed to troubleshoot interruptions to services, maintain lines, etc.
- Technology support: main point of contact for onsite repairs to computer hardware, printers, and camera system; respond to and resolve all IT Work Tickets submitted.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace Admin Suite, Android, Apple and Microsoft Office products with ability to resolve common issues (email/password recovery, creating/maintaining calendars and room reservations, etc.).
- Attendance and participation at YWCA Technology meetings.
- Coordination of all IT related purchases and server room inventory.
- Coordination with HR on all employee- related technology requests such as, creating new hire credentials, providing new hire technology, collecting terminated employee technology/resetting to provide to new staff members, etc.
- Ongoing contact and coordination with outsourced IT vendor to assist with needs outside of YWCA scope of knowledge.
- Collaboration with CFO regarding strategic planning of YWCA IT including but not limited to, ongoing technology/connection interruptions, trends in technology hardware/software issues, additional technology needs for organizational growth, etc.
- Other duties as assigned to meet the organization's goals.
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED, associate's degree or above preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain such.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2-4 years experience in building maintenance and/or facilities management.
- Understand and proficiency in organizational skill sets.
- Proven ability to effectively and respectfully interact with diverse populations, including clients, co-workers and agency.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate in a professional manner with a wide range of people.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion when handling potentially confidential or sensitive manners.
- Strong time management skills; ability to take initiative to solve problems and work with minimum supervision.
Physical/Mental Essential Requirements:
- Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying (up to thirty (30) pounds).
- Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Ability to sit at a computer work station for extended periods of time.
- Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product.
- Work is performed primarily in a non-smoking office environment, though travel may expose employee to inclement weather conditions.
- Occasional high stress may be experienced in dealing with clients, staff and volunteers.
