Arbors Management is currently hiring for a full-time Assistant Property Manager for a 204-Unit Senior High-Rise building in Charleston, WV. This position is responsible for ensuring apartments are rented, completing HUD paperwork, screening prospective tenants and assisting the property manager with all other daily activities.

Performance objectives of the Assistant Property Manager include:
- Ensuring new resident wait lists are updated and that people are being contacted to fill vacant and up-coming vacant units
- Uploading all tenant files into Google Drive on a weekly basis
- Contacting and interviewing prospective tenants daily
- Inputting work orders into the computer system as soon as they are received
- Provide information for audits when needed
- Communicate with residents in a professional manner
Qualifications for the Assistant Property Manager include:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years minimum working in the housing industry, preferably in a manager role
- Experience with Section-8 and HUD housing preferred
- Software experience in Realpage, Yardi or similar is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Must have driver’s license and personal transportation
- Ability to walk the property including stairs, lift 25 lbs. and also be able to sit for extended periods of time.
