Description

As a Corporate Accountant reporting to the Controller, you will be a key team member in our corporate finance department, playing a crucial role in maintaining financial records, assisting in financial analysis, and ensuring compliance. Your attention to detail and financial acumen will contribute to the overall financial stability and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Own the accounts payable process by processing and recording accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices and following up with vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including collection, and reconciliation.
  • Work to resolve discrepancies and issues with vendors and clients.
  • Assist external tax manager in the preparation of tax returns by responding to requests timely.
  • Play a key role in external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing audit recommendations and improvements.
  • Reconcile various accounts, including bank accounts, on a regular basis.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Provide general accounting support to the Controller and finance team as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
