POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide quality customer service, over the phone and in person.
- Sales Order Entry.
- Bill of Ladings for Outbound shipments.
- Assist walk-in customers.
- Freight Reports for A/P entry.
- Filing.
- Back-up for receptionist, answering multi-line phone system.
- Perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- ** MUST be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a self-starter, requiring little direction. **
- Must have good telephone skills and interact well with others.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate orally or in writing with co-workers, departments, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
- With minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems, interpret, and resolve problems using a variety of instructions or guides received in writing, orally, in diagrams, or in schedule formats.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- HazMat experience is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided if needed.
- DOT experience is a plus, but not required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree(GED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
- The job will generally be performed in an office environment; however, work in the warehouse is necessary for the job function and will be expected to spend time in the warehouse.
- Background checks and drug tests required
- Extended hours may be required.
