SSI has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join an exceptional team in Laurel, MD. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph and work onsite each day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.
• Manage Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment.
• Familiar with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Deploy worldwide enterprise solutions.
• Install, configure and manage Linux operating systems.
• Work with AWS-based solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network components.
• Implement operating systems enhancements.
• Test prototype enterprise scale solutions.
• Knowledge of writing scripts in Bash, Python, and executing shell scripts
• Deploy applications
• Develop and support Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications.
• Experience with using Nessus and Agile methodologies
• Perform detailed analysis.

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
• 10+ years of related experience
• Must work onsite
