Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our development team to support the creation and maintenance of Hart's healthcare data management platform. This role offers hands-on experience in software development while contributing to meaningful healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the engineering team on development of healthcare data management solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable code for production applications
  • Support the integration of disparate healthcare data sources
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Debug and resolve software issues
  • Contribute to documentation and testing efforts
  • Document and propose process improvements


Requirements

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to deliver objective insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous project experience (personal, academic, or professional)
  • Familiarity with web development technologies
  • Experience with healthcare data systems
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Understanding of data privacy and security principles
