We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuing Education Coordinator to join our team of talented professionals.
The Continuing Education Coordinator for the Center for Excellence (CFE) is a member of the Center for Excellence Team and is responsible for working with various continuing education and training projects within individual programs and departments for the purpose of integrating agency-wide learning into short- and long-term training initiatives. The Continuing Education Coordinator will also assist the Training Supervisor and Special Projects Coordinator with programming TGC’s learning management system and coordinating New Employee Orientation. This position requires coordination of staff development concepts across administrative levels at TGC, including vetting courses in TGC’s Relias learning management system to verify that they satisfy various training requirements and programming training plans into the system for TGC departments and programs. Position will assist the Training Supervisor and Special Projects Coordinator with the scheduling and facilitation of new employee orientation sessions and other employee in-service trainings. Position reports to the CFE Training Supervisor and will work closely with the CFE Special Projects Coordinator, CFE Director, and other members of TGC’s Senior Management Team to assess and make recommendations regarding workforce development. The Continuing Education Coordinator must be capable of independent decision-making and demonstrate flexibility in working cooperatively with staff at all levels.
Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; however, specific tasks and/or processes will require evening and weekend hours. Some travel may also be required.

To qualify for this position, you will need:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or related field.
- Must have at least two years of experience creating and implementing program and policy development work, and experience in learning management system programming.
- Must have the ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with administrators and staff at the agency, county, and state levels.
- Position includes taking a lead role in various committees, task forces, etc. with experience in project management and cross-group facilitation highly preferred.
- A current valid driver’s license in favorable standing is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication are required.
