Job Summary- RafterOne's Salesforce B2B Practice is seeking a tech-savvy, self-motivated Salesforce and solutions Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll potentially serve in a dual capacity supporting both heads-down implementation of requirements working in unison with our BA and mentoring a team of Engineers that work out of our Delivery Center in India. You’ll partner with the client and those on your implementation team to ensure the delivery of a successful Salesforce solution leveraging creativity and superb customer engagement. In this position, you’ll juggle complex requirements and high expectations in parallel within a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead salesforce implementations, providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to the software design, development, and integration
- Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures
- Design, develop, and maintain application architectures that support clients’ business requirements
- Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Assist Project Leadership to conduct project risk identification and mitigation planning
- Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits, assisting with RFP responses, architecture assessments, and technical qualification
- Familiar with CI/CD and Automation Tools
- CPQ and Billing Experience on Salesforce
- Mentor Technical Teams
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science OR equivalent OR combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in application architecture with Salesforce Cloud development.
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Experience in managing and handling multiple medium/complex Salesforce implementation projects
- Experience with managing remote teams across different time zones
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Firm understanding of web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design
- Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL
- Experience with managing remote teams across different time zones
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with project automation technology: Jenkins, automated unit testing, Maven, Ant
- Active Salesforce Certifications with any of the following: Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Technical Architect, Salesforce Data Architecture & Management Designer, Salesforce Sharing & Visibility Designer, Salesforce B2B Commerce, Salesforce CPQ Specialist
- Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick/Apptus) and CloudCraze/Demandware implementation experience preferred.
- Up to 30% travel to project locations or client sites, as necessary
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache HTTP, open source packages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with client senior management
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively and to deliver constructive feedback
