Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Sales Representative to drive direct sales of Modula’s VLM technology across the Texas region. This role focuses on building strong relationships with end customers, delivering tailored automation solutions, and closing deals that add value to their operations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales, deep knowledge of automation and warehousing solutions, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue goals in Texas.
- Proactively connect with businesses to understand their unique challenges and present tailored VLM solutions to address their needs.
- Identify and target new business opportunities in industries such as manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with key decision-makers to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Provide detailed presentations and live demonstrations, showcasing the value and capabilities of Modula’s technology.
- Actively identify and pursue leads, leveraging personal outreach and professional networks to drive sales.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, maintaining accurate records and reports to track progress and refine strategies.
- Ensure smooth implementation of solutions, working closely with technical teams to meet customer needs and provide ongoing support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in warehouse automation, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
- Familiar with Vertical Lift Machines (VLM's) technology, warehousing, automatic retrieval solutions and inventory management systems.
- Success in managing a sales territory, driving new business, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Texas to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Able to understand and extrapolate data to support sales and build target audience.
